Our steps to ensure safety, well-being and business continuity during the COVID-19 situation

As COVID-19 continues to affect our lives, Alter Agents is committed to supporting our team and our clients. While there is no proven roadmap for the challenges we now face, we know that maintaining open lines of communication is key: with employees, with clients, and with consumers. Beyond the immediacy of the virus, the economic impact on our industry and our clients’ industries is still very much unknown. Alter Agents is taking steps to address these challenges.

  • Our employees are able to take advantage of our existing flexible working policies, which have been in place already for 10 years. This allows them to effectively and efficiently work from home and continue to exceed client needs and expectations. Employee safety and well-being is everything.
  • We are meeting with clients to discuss any possible impacts on research outcomes in an environment where respondents are not operating under normal circumstances. Helping our clients get the most value from their research, with accurate results, remains our top priority. Staying connected to important consumer audiences and understanding how this global challenge is affecting their behavior can help build strength and resilience allowing our client brands to not only weather this storm, but emerge stronger.
  • Over the last several months, we have been doing research on consumer fear and anxiety in the United States and their effects on behavior. We have been sharing this work (Facing Fear: Understanding Anxious Consumers) with clients over the past month and will be hosting a webinar in two weeks. The data offers powerful insights into how fear and anxiety can impact choices consumers are making around purchasing.

It is a challenging time, and yet – we are positive we will all be using this experience as an opportunity to further strengthen our homes, our work, and our communities. And we’d love to stay in conversation with each of you about that. Please feel free to reach out to me personally with any concerns or areas where we can support you.
