SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST

 

Job Description

This Senior Research Analyst position at Alter Agents requires a detail-oriented, team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. The Sr. Research Analyst will support a Manager and a Director and will report to their Manager on a day-to-day basis. This position will assist in running market research projects from start to finish which includes coordinating and managing vendors and technology partners to ensure high-quality project execution. The Sr. Research Analyst will also be further developing their data analysis skills, report structuring and storytelling skills, broader project management strategies, as well as client interaction skills. While the Sr. Research Analyst will be working with data, please note this is NOT a data analyst position – you will be working with Excel and SPSS, but not SQL, Python, etc.

  • You understand the steps of a research project from questionnaire development to analysis.
  • You must have a strong understanding of quantitative research design with experience in qualitative research methods.
  • You must be able to coordinate with various vendors on questionnaire programming, sample procurement, field management, data processing, and report population.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Must have at least 1 year of market research experience, supplier-side experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with a dedication to maintaining the integrity of information.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and self-directed.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks across multiple projects with competing timelines with guidance from senior staff.
  • Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Full knowledge in Google Suite including: Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Experience navigating different data sets – from excel tabs to online data portals.
  • Familiarity with multiple online survey environments and online reporting tools is a plus (such as Qualtrics, Decipher, Confirmit, etc.).
  • Experience writing questionnaires, developing tab & banner plans, creating sampling plans, creating analytical & story plans, and building PowerPoint reports.
  • Experience managing vendor communications is a plus.
  • Experience with SPSS is a plus.
  • Experience with advanced statistics for quantitative analysis is a plus.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $75,000 annual salary + Bonus Structure
